Naila Bhatri, MS
Naila Bhatri has over a decade of experience in forensic science and molecular biology, and is now applying her expertise to wildlife conservation. She has previously worked at the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory in the quality management section, and at the George Washington University Hospital, managing the molecular diagnostics section. Naila grew up in Oman, moved to India for her undergraduate degree in Botany and Zoology, and then to the United States for a Masters in Forensic Science. She enjoys exploring the cities she lives in, hiking, and recording moments using a combination of words and photographs.
At Legal Atlas, Naila divides her time between leading legal research in the wildlife trade and environmental crime topics, and developing the legal intelligence platform and its tools.
